After disembarking the magnificent QM2 in Southampton, our adventure continued with a scenic train journey to London Gatwick, followed by a charming flight to Lisbon via Porto in a delightful puddle jumper. Our destination: the newest and most impressive ship in the P&O Fleet—the spectacular Britannia.
Dawn Arrival in Vigo
From Lisbon, we sailed directly to the picturesque port of Vigo, Spain. The early morning arrival at 7 AM yesterday was nothing short of magical, with the Spanish coastline emerging from the dawn mist as Britannia gracefully glided into harbor.
Majestic Sailaway from Lisbon
Two days ago, we experienced one of the most memorable sailaways of our cruising adventures. As Britannia departed Lisbon's stunning harbor, the stirring sounds of "Rule Britannia, Britannia Rules the Waves" filled the air, creating an atmosphere of pure maritime majesty that sent chills down every passenger's spine.
