Living the Rock Star Life
Our Spanish adventure begins in absolute style at the Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella. Using our Unity Points from Las Vegas, we secured this incredible dog-friendly accommodation where Skyelark could join us for the ultimate luxury experience.

Fast Money at the Tables
The casino right next to the hotel called my name. Jumped into a 5/10 game and doubled my money in just 40 minutes before making a strategic exit. Sometimes knowing when to leave is just as important as knowing when to play.

This quick session perfectly embodied the Feynman principle of knowing what you don't know - recognizing that tonight's table dynamics weren't optimal for my playing style, despite the early success.
Spain's Oldest Bullfighting Ring
A pilgrimage to Ronda, the city of dreams for Hemingway and Orson Welles. Standing in Spain's oldest bullfighting ring, Skyelark and The Matador pose in the very arena where legends were made and literary history was written.

From Narrow Streets to Endless Possibilities
Walking Skyelark through the narrow, hilly streets of Gibraltar proves challenging, but crossing the border into Spain opens up endless possibilities for our four-legged explorer. The contrast is immediate and liberating.
Marbella has become our go-to happy spot these days - where Skyelark can roam freely and we can truly embrace the Spanish lifestyle without constraints.
Sugar Blues and Real Spain Back In the Daze When My Beard Was in Beta
A more raw encounter with Spain in Vigo, where I met a baker making ginormous croissants. This place looked like it should be renamed "Beirut, Spain" - all bombed out with deep construction, concrete slabs, and jackhammers everywhere.

Mission to Mars with buddy Mike - searching for a cigar store between 2PM and 4PM when everything was closed. Classic España siesta time: part of the "work less, do more" strategy.
