Sarah and I got nostalgic thinking about our 8 Voyage Segment 110 Days/Daze! on Crystal's  2011 World Cruise . We plan on doing another one soon. One of Doha's more impressive construction projects is the Pearl, an artificial island that covers 985 acres and house up to 30,000 residents, including us. We took our friends  Ralf  and Anders from Crystal on a tour. How SWEDE it is.

Qatar opened their first ever library. IT took 5 years to design and build. Wow, what a library. 3 D Printers, Books, Multimedia, today I got to sample the musical instruments available for checkout as well.

In  Doha, Qatar's capital, entire new neighborhoods have been built  on land reclaimed from the sea. And the buildings have one thing in  common: Bling.
