The Manhattan Project-Unique New York

I was born in New York but my hometown is the ocean- sailing any ocean. So I am not a NYer but I played one in real life this week.  Driving in New York City was thrilling, with hours of boredom followed by moments of exhilaration (Maybe that is too kind a word). Jogging In Central Park-a simple pleasure The Circle Line doesn't go in a circle or a line  but  it covers the whole of Manhattan island Sarah and I were last in New York Harbor July 2014 After six sea days at sea, it was great to see first land, on this special July crossing of The Atlantic with Sarah E Kennedy On Cunard's Queen Mary 2 Oceanliner . 7/17/7/14: Sailing Into NYC Harbor at the mouth of the Hudson River, was Spectacular---  I remember it a lot more than my uneventful return today by ordinary means....Our smokestack just cleared the Verranzano Narrows Bridge by a few feet!
