For some reason, I think of the painting Where Do We Come From? What Are We? as paradise defined.
Papeete is not just a distant suburb of Paris, more like a slum of Los Angeles. Yet, when you get away from the urbanization of the port of call, it gets considerably better, like in Moorea and Bora Bora, the two neighboring islands I “first met” when I did the World Cruise back in February. I'll be going there again in a few days.
