Last time I was in Moorea, I thought of the Paul Gauguin assertion: Life being what it is, one dreams of revenge. Living in America, after all is like being kidnapped and being held for ransom by the shared halluctination known as Consumerism and sold into slavery, indentured to credit card debt. One Market Under god and all that Nike Just Buy It branding-I shop therefore I am-- Here on Moorea, I bought nothing today!
Living well is STILL the best revenge. The Garden of Eden where fruit falls fromt the ground-awesome.
