This winter, we've been soaking up the unique charm of the Costa del Sol with our beloved Scottish terrier, Sarah and Skyelark. From the stunning vistas of Gibraltar to the golden sands of Eastern Beach, Skye has relished every moment of adventure by our side.
Braving the Winter Waters
One highlight was braving the icy rooftop pool—a brisk yet invigorating experience that left us feeling alive and refreshed! The contrast between the cool water and the warm Spanish sun created an unforgettable moment of pure exhilaration.
The rush of cold water followed by the warmth of the Andalusian winter sun created a perfect balance - invigorating, refreshing, and absolutely unforgettable.
British Territory on Spanish Soil
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain's south coast. It's dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge. Driving over the border from Malaga, Spain, you immediately feel the unique blend of British and Mediterranean cultures.
Oh Yeah, The Monkeys Too!
No visit to Gibraltar is complete without encountering the famous Barbary macaques - the only wild monkey population in Europe. These cheeky residents of the Rock have been captivating visitors for centuries, and watching Skyelark's reaction to these agile creatures was absolutely priceless.
